SUBJECT: 2019 ANNUAL BOARD OF FINANCE MEETING NOTICE
The annual Board of Finance Meeting of the City of South Bend, Indiana has been scheduled for
Monday, January 28, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. in the Council Informal Meeting Room. This is an annual meeting
where the South Bend Common Council convenes as a local Board of Finance.

The following agenda items have been set for the meeting:
1. Call to Order- Tim Scott, Common Council President
2. Election for the offices of president and secretary to the Board of Finance
3. Receive and review the Investment Office’s Annual Investment Report summarizing the City of
South Bend’s investment activity during the 2018 calendar year – presented by the City
Controller and Paul Gifford, 1st Source Bank Investment Advisor
4. Election of City Investment Officers by the Board of Finance
5. Receive updates from City Investment Advisors and review the City’s overall investment
policies, interest earnings, and other public financial policies selected by the City Controller
6. Review miscellaneous financial information from the City Controller and staff
This meeting is governed by I.C. 5-13-7-1 et seq. (Board of Finance) and I.C. 5-14-3 (Access to Public
Records)
