Partial estimate allowed to the Williston Construction Company for v pa vement improvement on Howard Street from Niles Avenue to Notre Dame Avenue, which amountsto ................. .................................. .... ...$2,992.27 Mr. Eugene Miller of the American Trust Company, with Mir. Chas. Oberlein plumber contract on water taros on Eddy Street and Uishawa.ka Avenue, appeared before the Board and requested that the money held up on contract for said water taps txxkkx be released. The Board ordered that said money be released if Mr. J. W. Toyne Supt. of the Water Dept., would o. k. said taps. Grades were approved by the Board as follows:-• Rrd. alley west of Lafayette Street between lots 54 and 55 Hen.rick's and Grant's Addition and between lots 4 and 5. Alley east of Clinton Street from Sample Street to Bronson Street. Partial estimate allowed No. 2 for grade, curb and walk on Fox Street from Oak Park Addition to Miami Street, allowed H. L. Cahill, Louisville, Ky. ° Dear Sir :- Relative to the sewer connection on Michigan Street to the Sibly property which the City Engineer Mr. F..4. Anderson has already written you, we would like to advise you that this sewer connection lacks thirty five inches of reaching the curb line. Your spef i,c iat icons provided ,that this sewer connection reach the curb line, and as you failed to follow the specifications in this regard, and a nless the bill is paid a copy of .vhieh you will find enclosed it will be necessary for us to proceed against your bondsman. Resolved b the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, the City of South Bend, Indiana. That the following described property be appro- priated for the use of said City: a part of Miami Street as follows, to -wit: - Beginning at the intersection of the east line of Miami Street and the south line of Ewing Avenue; thence south on the east line of Miami Street to apoint 200 feet south of the, east and west center line of the north east 4 of section 24 T. 37 N.' R. 2 E produced cast which point is the City limits; thence east 15 feet; thence north parallel to and 15 feet east of the east line Of Miami Street to the south line of Ewing Avenue; thence west 15 feet to the place of beginring. The purpose of such appropriation is for a strip of land for Widening of Miami Street from Ewing Avenue to City Limits.
