This being the date set for making of final award of contract for pavement on Eddy Street and Mishawaka, Avenue from Jefferson Blvd., to center of Nineteenth Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 544, property wieners appeared before the Beard and filed the following petition; which was read and placed on file. . Ui&hawaka Avenue respectfully petition rY/ the Honorable Board of Public Works to take from the general fund and to pay out of said fund an amount equal to the difference between the Brady contract for paving Ifishawaka Avenue, and the present proposed contract and to pay °sa°id amount out of said genteral fund. Second: We request the Board to require the present contractor to begin work at once and finish said street from l9th. Street within ninety days from date. S igned. Adam Hunsberger, J. B. Concerning the improvement of the roadway of Eddy Street and Mishawaka Avenue from Jefferson Blvd. to center of Nineteenth Street in pursuance to resolution No. 544 the Beard finds that no petition has b,-°en filed with said Board by a, majority in number of the freeholders residing on said street- to be improved requesting that it be unproved Frith a, diffeent kind of pavement than the kind heretofore adopted by the Board in' its .preliminary order; andthe City Er_gineer reports that The White Construction Company is the lowest arid best bidder for_ the -kind of pavement heretofore adopted by the Board, a,nn.d total cost to the -property oK�_er for said improvement is less: than 50 o of assessed valunt ion, and the Beard find that said The white Construct ion Company is the lowest and best bidder and hereby lets the contract for said improvement to him, and orders th:. t said improvement be trade with Trinidad Lake Sheet Asphalt and all erooeedings heretofore had in this matter are hereby confirmed and ratified.
