Board met in regular session at 10-00 A.-U. All members present.
Mr. H. B. Reinsigen, Asst. Principal Engineer of the New York
Eentral Railway Company with Attorney Hubbell met with the Beard and discussed °
some of the plans for. track •separation in this City. The Beard informed Mr. Reinsagen
that they would adapt a resolution ordering plans on April 3rd. 917._ Mr. Reinsgane
informed the Board that his companies plans would be ready to file by May lst.,1917
and probably some work started about July 13t.,1917.
Communication received from John H. Haughton in regard to the
dirty condition of Division Street across from Grand Trunk Ry. Company passenger
V/ station. Same referred to the Street Commissioner for, invesiligation.
Petition received for a light on Oakland Street.. Same read.and
✓ placed on file:
Remonstrance filed against pavement on kst alley north of Thomas
Street from Laurel Street to Chapel Lane, Same read and placed on file.
TO THE HONORABLE BOARD OF PUBLIC.WORKS:
Referring to remodeling Police barn as per drawings submitted it is
estimated that the same will cost approximately $1,000.00.
To plaster ceiling and construct plaster .partition instead of
wood partition, and cover floor witheement 1" thick as su1150,00
gested, in the brick building
across the alley, anadditionalexpense of approximately would be required
making atonal of $10150.00

for same and to give Mr. Howard $25.00 per day and all expenses for each trip made.

Replying to your letter of March 13th., in regard to pavement -on Eddy
Street and Mishawaka Avenue, wish to advise that the communication which Mr. Eiimens
sent you is the regular form which he had used for this purposes in notifying the
Board of Works to let our portion of the contract as a part of the general contract
when they contract for their own portion of the street would therefore advise there is
no question at all regarding the intent od the communication.
