He had intended to discuss the background and development of fiber optic data transmission through Metronet. In addition the distinction between the for profit and not for profit dimensions of Metronet were to be discussed as well as Metronet were to be discussed as well as Metronet's role in wireless communication in the future. Dr. Varner allowed Bryan Baker, President of Com- Control a voice and data management consulting firm, to speak briefly. However without adequate time left to explore the issues, Dr. Varner entered two items (attachment filed in the Office of the City Clerk) into the record for review and promised to schedule another time for IT to address the concerns raised.
