MAYOR PETE BUTTIGIEG CONGRATULATES STUDENT SCHOLAR
RECIPIENTS AT STUDEBAKER NATIONAL MUSEUM
SOUTH BEND Mayor Pete Buttigieg presented awards to high school students at the
South Bend Student Scholar Reception on Tuesday, May 22 at 4:00 p.m. The reception
took place at the Studebaker National Museum at 201 S. Chapin Street. The reception
honored the academic success of local students throughout their high school careers.
"This is an opportunity to acknowledge the tremendous work of these great high school
students,"said Mayor Buttigieg. "They are the future leaders of our community and I
would like to congratulate their families and friends on their accomplishments."
Award recipients included High School Valedictorians,Salutatorians,National Merit
Scholarship Finalists,National Achievement Program for Negro Students,Lugar
Scholars,Wells Scholars,Hoosier Scholars,Presidential Scholars Finalists,and Lilly
Endowment winners.
