Dear Mr. Kuhns:
The Board of Public Works, at its meeting held on November 27, 2018, approved the above
referenced Change Order for an increase of $765, plus an additional one -hundred fourteen
(114) days, bringing the current contract amount to $98,240 and the new project completion
date to November 18, 2018.
Enclosed is a copy of the Change Order for your records.

Scott,
As you are aware, this project had a completion date of July 27, 2018. Due to the lengthy
fabrication and galvanizing time frames, we were not able to take receipt of these custom
fabricated grates and gates until the end of October 2018 at which time we proceeded with the
installation of this work. We brought this to the City's attention during our preconstruction
meeting on July 19th, 2018 and depicted it in our project schedule that we submitted during the
meeting. I have attached the original project schedule that we submitted along with a letter
from our vendor stating the length of time needed to fabricate and galvanize the grates and
gates. Below is listed the sequence of events for this project. They are as follows:
