Through funds secured from a federal Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant, Center for History
the South Bend Municipal Energy Office (SBMEO)has been able to retrofit city 574235.9664

In each of the buildings,old light fixtures were replaced with new technology. High bay 574282.1110
induction lights were installed,which use half of the electricity of their High Pressure Morris Performing Arts Center
Sodium counterparts (200 watts down from 400 watts+previously). These new lights April 20 April 21 April 22
provide much better quality light,offer a much longer service life(up to 20 years),and Blue Man Group

• The Martin Luther King Center saw a 20%reduction in energy use for the entire April 26 7pm
