RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
INDICATING ITS INTENT TO BE REIMBURSED FOR PRELIMINARY
COSTS RELATED TO THE ACQUISITION AND REDEVELOPMENT OF
THE STUDEBAKER CORRIDOR DEVELOPMENT AREA
OR THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the
"Commission ") , subsequent to complying with all statutory
requirements, intends to issue its South Bend Redevelopment District
general obligation bonds (the "Bonds "), for the purposes of obtaining
money to pay for the costs of acquisition and redevelopment within
the Studebaker Corridor Development Area (the "Area "); and
co WHEREAS,the Commission desires to reimburse itself for all
expenses reasonably incurred in connection with the acquisition and
redevelopment of the Area from proceeds of the Bonds, when issued,
including all reasonable and necessary architectural, engineering,
legal, financing, accounting, advertising, and supervisory expenses
related to the acquisition and redevelopment of the Area or the
issuance of the Bonds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Commission hereby establishes its intent pursuant to IC
5- 1 -14 -6 to reimburse itself for all reasonable and necessary
co preliminary costs incurred in financing the acquisition and
redevelopment of the Area or the issuance of Bonds.
2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption by the Commission.
