Board met in 'specii,l session at 11:45 A.M. All members present;
This being the date set for the deferred hearing on assessment roll and
final estimate for Tla.cadam pavement V improvement on Leeper Avenue from Howard Street to
Angella Avenue under Improvement Resolution No. 405. the Board after giving this
matter due consideration decided to make a trip over said improvement to investigate,
and therefore defer all -action. on said assessment roll ans f iral as.t imate until
Friday September 29th. ,1916. at 10; 00 A.M.
Communications were submitted to the Board by City Engineer Anderson
from the Pittsburgh Testing Company and Van Trump in regard to prices: for testing
asphalt on Michigan Street pavement i.mnrovement. The Board ordered the City Eng°ineer
to employ.-Vs.n'T-!mp as per letter for inspection of 111ichigan. Street sheet asphalt

Partial estimate allowed H. L. Davis on Grade, curb walk and gravel

on Michijan. Street Trunk ;ewer, such sum or sums of money that are held by you subject
to the action of the Board of Public Works on January 25th. 1916 as a guaranty for
faithful performance of contract or otherwise with the said Board.
