The following resolution was adopted by the Board.
STREET OR ALLEY IMPROVEMEAT RESOLUTION NO. 475.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND •,-
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY STATE OF INDIANA, that it is desired and deemed necessary to improve
La Porte Avenue from Washington Avenue to the north fine of Linden Avenue as follows, to -wit: -
By resurfacing the roadway from curb line to curb line, and the roadways of all
intersecting an3entering streets and alleys lying within said portion of said laporte
.Avenue not included in the roadways, with Sheet Asrha.lt, Bithulithic, Asrhaltic Concrete
or Brick l ,id on the present Brick surface laid or. the present brick surface. In places

b7E IT PURTHER RESOLVED, That the Hoard of rublic Works fix the 10th.

this City, as the time -,fid place for the public consideration of said proposed improverrlent,
at which said hoard will hear all nersons interested, or whose property is liable to be
assessed for said improvement, and will decide whether the benefits to the oroperty liable
to be asses ed for said improvement will equal the estimated cost thereof.
Be It Further Resolved. That notice of the timcaad place of such public
onsideration be published a.nd mailed in the manner nrov?ded by law, Notice of this
resolution shall be published on the 14th day of September 1916 and on. the 21st. day of
September 191?5 in the S out' L Bend Daily Tribune.
Adopted this 13th. day of September 1916.
