Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. All members present.
The Board had up the matter of removing trolley poles and placing
✓ wires to buildings on Michigan Street with Mr. Brandon. Mr. Brandon informed
the: Board that he would have all agreements signed up for the same by Wednesday
August 30th.,1916.
Mr. Caldwell of the Indiana & Michigan Elec. Company appeared before
the Board at their request in regard to the price of cluster lights on Michigan
Street. Mr. Caldwell stated that as Mr. Bryan was away out of the City that he
would_ try and let the Board know the price of said lights by Tuesday Augubt 29th.
1916, at 10:00 A.M.
Clerk instructed to notify Mr. Warner of the St. Joseph Heating
Company to have on file by Tuesday Augut 29th.,o916 at.-10:00 A M. blue prints
✓ showing all steam connections on Michigan Street from La Salle•Avenue to South St.
The Board ordered that the City Engineer was to see that no permits
were issued during the Fair Week (or from Septe. llth. to loth., inc. 1916)
for cuts into Michigan Street or other Streets in the downtown districts.
The Board ordered that the Street Commissioner have all cuts in
Pavements in the Downtown district repaved end streets in good condition for the
✓ Fair Week between Sept. llth.,1916. and Sept. 16th.,1916. -. -

The Board ordered that the City Civil Engineer make a, report by
Tuesday August, 29th.91916. at 10:00 A.M. about all underground work=of the
different public utilities.
Communication received from A. G. Mattes in regard to the condition
of the Leener .Avenue Pavement and sidewalk at the northeast corner of Howard St.
All The same was read and referred to the City Civil Engineer for investigation. -
Engineer filed the estimated cost of pavement on Euclid Avenue
from La Porte Ave. to Walnut Street at..............................03,900.00
Engineer filed estimated cost of grade; curb, cement walk and
gravel. roadway on Chapin Street from Calvert Street to EvIing Avenue at.$3,750.00
