TO PUBLIC UTILITIES AND PROPERTY OWNERS
ON MICHIGAN STREET BETWEEN LASALLE AVENUE
PSD SOUTH STREET.
Whereas a permanent improvement of Michigan Street between La Salle
Avenue and South Street by paving same with a suitable .pavement for that locality will.
be ` started on or about May 1-1916.
You are therefore to take notice that it is the wish and request
of the Board of Public Works, that all service connection and all underground qm-
st ruet ions of whatever nature be completed, where possible, before the time of paving.
It is the desire of the Board that all work be finished and completed .so that it will
eliminate the necessity of disturbing the new pavement, and the Common Council has upon
recommendation of the Board of Public Works passed an Ordinance requiring this work to
be done
The utilities and licensed plumbers will be given the privilege
of replacing the old pavement, thus eliminating the usual charge for that.
It is hoped that it will be unnecessary to call attention to this
matter again. By co—operation, this work can be finished in due time and such is the
request of the Board,
Yours respectfully,
