Board met in special session at 11. 45,A.M. All members present.
Bids were received, opened and read for the painting of the Cemetery
fence. There were five bids received. The Board by unanimous consent awarded the con—
tract to Seifert Brothers for the sum of.....153.00
The Clerk was instructed to request the City Attorney to draw a' eontract
for Selfert Brothersto sign.

A.special meeting of the Board of Public forks was called by the
President E. M. Dorris, to meet at 12:30 P.D.
At such meeting the Building Commissioner reported that it would be
necessary to have an assistant i owing to the work increasing in his office beyond his con—
trol and also that an Assistant electrician should be appointed at once. The Board therefor
resolved, that/W. D. Teeple be appointed as Assistant Building Commissioner, and provided
for his term of office to begin on Monday March 27th.11916 at a salary of $l „200.00 per
year, sub-ject to the ratification by the Common Oouncil.
The Board ordered the Building Commissioner to prepare a notice for
an examination for electricial assistant in the Building department. Such examination to be
held an provided by the Building Ordinance and to be held on the 318t.dt'y of March,.1916
at 9:00 A.M. and fixed the salary for such assistant at a-i-00 per month, subject to the
ratification of the Common Council, all as per compliance With the Building Ordinance as
adopted by the Common Council December 21st.1915,
The Building Commissioner was further requested to notify the Board
of Examiners for such examination, and prepare the questions of the examinations and to
hold examination as provided by the Ordinance aforesaid.
