Bids were received opened and read for the printing of the Annual Report
of the City. The same referred to the Clerk for tabulation to be reported on at meeting
at 7:45 P.M -
Excavation bond for the sum of One Thousand ($1,000.00)Dollars signed
by Aloysius J. Seitert as principal and the United States Fidelity & guaranty Co. of
Baltimore, approved by the Board.
Communication with blue print attached Ishovdng additions to vault
stacks in the City Clerk's office at price of $150.00 delivered and set from the Herr k
Herr Co. signed by H.E.Herr,Secyo was approved by the Board.
An Are li it was ordered placed on Kiefer Skating rink on W. Colfax Avenue
temporarily.
The Committee appointed by the Board for holding examinations for
the building inspector were as follows:- E.R.Austin, W.W.Schneider, H.Q.Christman,
and E.E.Burner and Fred J. Anderson,City Engineer.
Petition received for a pavement on South St. Louis Stret from Jefferson
Blvd. to Division Street. Same referred to the City Engineer for investigation.
. Resolved, by the Board that all proceedings of resolution for the Grading,
Paving, curb and walk on tract of land located at the southeast corner of West La Salle
Avenue and La Porte Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 413 adopted on the 26th* day
of October 1915 , be hereby:: reaoinded.

Board met in regular sessio at 7:45 P.M. All members present.
Contract for printing five hundred annual reports for the- City and
fifty controllers reports awarded to L.P.Hardy, for the sum of $396. 00,extra charge
for inserts. The Goniec Polski Printing Company being the lowest bider for printing
10,000 sheets of appropriation blanks and five thousand sheets of Street Comissioners
investigation and complaint sheets:
Mr. John Porogi of 314 O'Btken Street, appeared before the Board in
regard to the ,rosition of Janitor in the City Hall. The Board took this matter under
consideration*

Board met in special session at 10:45 P.M. Mr. A. H. Rice absent.
At the Board's request Mr. E. C. Daicey of the South Bend Home
Telephone Company appeared before the Board and the matter of underground wom was
discussed.
