The following was received and placed on file.

South Bend, Indiana,.
The undersif;^2od, who are Freeholders of the City of South Bend, and
oviners of the entire tract of land known as Stover-Longley Addition to the City of South
Bend, Indiana, respectfully re(p est that t1he streets , all.e�rs, and public places therein
and the lots and plat thereof be vacated. A copy of said Mat is attached hereto.

MR. Herman Tohulka, agt.. for Mrs. ,Stull appeared before the Board
at their reeuest in regard to the vacation of the above mentioned plat.

The Board ordered that the City Engineer prepare a resolution for
such a vacation.
PeAssion wasgranted the Central Union Tel. Co. to set one pole on the
south side of Eckman Street, near alley between Main and ifici igan Streets.
The following resolutions were signed by E. K. MOrris and A. H. Rice,
Mr. J. ,,.B. Weber declining.
VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 25.1915.
Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
That it is desirable to vacate the folloviing;Beginning fifty (50) feet east and one
iiundred and forty nine (149) feet north of the intersection of the north line of Indiana
Avenue a,�ld the west line of Lafayette Street produced south; thence north one hundred and
ninty one(191) feet; thence east thirty two and onehalf (32-1/2) feet; thence south one
hundred and niiiety one (191) feet; thence west thirty two and one half (32�-1/2) feet to the
place of be ginning.
The following property -nay be iniuriously or beneficially effected
by such va,ca,tion:--
Be7_nning at the intersection of the north line of Indi ,ria Ave and the
east line of Franklin St ,,eet; thence east on the north line of Indiana. Avgnu¢ five hundred
thirty five and forty six one hundreths (535.46) feet to the west line of the right of way
of the Terre Haute & Lom., nsport Railroad Co. thence north on the west boundry of said
rigjit of way one hundred ninety and forty four hundreths (190.44) 'feet to a point W. ere
it interests the south boundry of the Vandalia extension; thence north westerly on a
perAmeter of a curve having a radius of three hundred twenty two and forty one hundreths
(322.41) feet o4 south boundry of said extension to a point seventy end sixty two
hundreths (70.62) feet east (Vf section line between sections'13 and 14 Tp. 37 N.R. 2 E.
and four hundred forty two and two tenths (442.2) feet north of 1/4 section line; then ce
west to the east line of Franklin Street; thence south on the east line of .Franklin
Street to the place of beginning.
Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 31st. day of Decemb
1915 and on the 7th. day of Jarmary 1916 in the South Bend Daily Tribune.
This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 25th. day of
January,1916 at 7*45 P.M. will hear and receive remonstrance s from all persons interested
in or affected by these proceedings. .

Reno lved, by the Bob.rd of Public Works of the City of South Bend,
v St. Joseph County, Indiana, that it is deene d and desired necessary to open and
extend Lafayette Street from a point 149 feet north of the north line of Indiana
Avenue to the north line of Indiana Avenue, Described, as pollows,to-wit.'.
Beginning at the intersection of the north line of Indiana Avenue and
the west line of Lafayette Street produced south; thence east fifty 150) feet;
thence north one hundred and fort" nine (149) feet; thence west fifty (50) feet;
thence south one hundred and forty nine (149) feet to the place of beginning.
By the condemnation end appropriation of sufficient lots and lands for
such oplening, specifically described as fb llows, tD-wit:-
