appeared; and objected to resurfacing of said street. The Board referred the

Hearing had on resolution for patvement on Bowman Street from
Michigan Street to Rush Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 797. In the `City
of South Bend, Indiana. $

Upon said hearing -remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance
was filed. Property owners being heard and written remonstrance considered by the
Board and over -ruled. The Board.being fully advised in the premises , decides that
the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to
the estimated cost of.the the sarpe as reported by the C it' ,.0 iv it Engineer, and- thereupon
takes final action on said its olut ion as originally adopted, and the same is hereby
in all things, rat if led, confirmed and approved.
Resolved further, that notices be published on the 9th. day of

COmmmnUat ion -received from Ed. C. Witwer of the Studebaker Corporation
in regard to the New York Central Railroad Line holding up traffic on Lafayette
Main and Michigan Streets, by blocking these crossings with freight trains.
This matter ref erred to the Chief of Pol lc requesting that immediate relief
be given.
