liable to be assessed fR said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same,
as reported by the City C iv it Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said

Ind iana Avenue to Calvert Street, under Improvementl,, Res olut ion No. 757. In the City
of South Bond, Ind iana.
In the above matter remonstrators appeared and written re monstrance
filed. The Board afger due consideration decided to defer all action on said
resolution until Wednesday May 5th919200 at 7:15 PLM.
Hear ing had on resolution for the pavement on Michigan Street from
Ewing Avenue to a point 40 feet north of the north Hine of Pairview Avenue, under
Improvement Resolution No. 752. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance
was filed. And the Board being fully advised in th'e premises, dew ides that the bene-
fits to property liabel to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated
cost of the same, as reported. by the City Civil Eng sneer, , and therepprl. takes final

benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the
estimated cost of said improvements as re orted by the City Rivil Engineer, and
thereupon takes final action do said res olut ion as originally adopted, and the` same is
hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved.

May 1920 and on the 8th. day of May 1920. in the South Bend Daily Tribune in said City,
stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements

Vacation Res olut ion No. 54. In the C ity of S 01 Lth Bend, Ind Tana.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared, but the Board
after due cons iderat ion decided to defer all action or. said roll iuit it may 5tl . ,1920

Deferred hearing had on rolls%of awards of damages and assessments
of benefits in the matter of appr opr iat ing a strip of land for the 0 pen ing of
Calvert Street from Michigan Street to Main St eet, under Improvement Resolution
No. 54. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Mr. Rowe appeared representing Ella L. Row and objected to the
amount of ben f assessed against South � lot 3 Stover & Witwer's Ads . to
Myler, also (rshall) Kirkley, 4W. RepreserntdngMarshall Kirkley Sr. appeared and
_objected to amount of damages -awarded , and presented certitate from the Real Estate
Board of `South Bend as to the present appraisal, same being placed at $4,200.00
The Board after due cons ider t ion decided to defer all action on this
roll until Wednesday May 5th.,1920 at 7:15 P.M.
Petit ion -filed for Vacation of alley starting at Flor ine Court and

Resolved by the Board of Public Woks oP the City of South Bend, County
of. St. Joseph, State of Indiana, that the construction of a local sewer, intended
and adapted for local use by the property holders whose property abuts thereon, and
not intenderd or adapted for receiving sewerage from collateral drains, be and the
same is hereby ordered in and along Vassar Avenue from Diamond Avenue to Lawndal!
Avenue as follows, to : -wit: -
Beg inning at the intersection of the center :line of
Diamond Avenue and Vassar Avenue;, thence west along-thecenter line of Vassar Avenue
to a point 41 feet east if the east line of Lawnd le Avenue with a 10 inch vitrified
pipe sewer together with the necessary manholes, $rarm water inlets, conduits, and
