RESOLUTION NO. 902
A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR PARTIAL
PAYMENT OF ACCRUED ARCHITECTURAL, ENGINEERING,
LEGAL, PLANNING AND APPRAISAL COSTS.
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has available
for use funds received by donation; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has accrued costs for architectural,
engineering, legal, planning and appraisal services in the South Bend
Central Development Area and the Studebaker Corridor Development
Area, the majority of which costs are allowable costs which may be
paid from bond proceeds;
WHEREAS, the accrued costs are now due and payable by the
Commission but bond proceeds will not be received until 1990; and
WHEREAS, the Commission desires to utilize the donated funds
available for the payment of a portion of the aforementioned accrued
costs; and
WHEREAS, the Commission desires that, to the extent permitted by
statute, the donated funds be reimbursed to the Commission upon
receipt of appropriate bond proceeds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission as follows:
1. The amount of Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred Eighty Dollars
($14,580.00) is hereby appropriated from donated funds available to
the Commission for the purpose of partial payment of accrued costs
incurred for architectural, engineering, legal, planning and
appraisal services in the South Bend Central Development Area and the
Studebaker Corridor Development Area.
2. It is the intention of the Commission that, to the extent
allowed by statute, this expenditure be reimbursed to the Commission
upon receipt of appropriate bond proceeds.
Adopted this 8th day of December, 1989.
