Street 'repair in. the City be ` notified to. come before the Board -Wednesday October 29th.,1919 at- 7:15 P.M. Petition received for an electric light st the earner of E. Miner and St. Peter Street Same read and placed on file. Communication received from Indiana & Michigan Electric Company in answer to letter sent October 16th. , 1919 regarding the moving of poles on Miami Street, and stating that they issued an ord r to take -care of this matter at once. Same read- and placed on file. The Board ordered an '80 C. P. light at the first north and south aley west of Leand Avenue running from Woodward Avenue to Riverside Drive at interseet3a of East and. west alley frumbBland Avenue west. The .Street Commissioner appeared before the Board and recommended that all teams be raised 44, 05 per hour and all common labor $, 02�lr per hour, and any individual labor in the deseret ion of the .Commissioner to cover instances of labor doing special work in department recommendation of Street Commissioner approved. Wage scale limits of meeting August 9th. 1919 set aside as far as the raises herein exceed the limits. Contract for supply of electric bulbs . in the City Hall signed up with the Peerless Brilliant Lamp Div is ion for the amount of $150 00 for the year of 1920. Same approved by the Board. The Board ordered notice sent to L.-H. VanderKarr to place cement walk on property owned by Mat it ids B. Harr estate on Lot 48 Oak Park lst. add it ion an High Street, also to construct cemeAt sidewalk on property owned by C. H De Frees and Chicago, Lake Shore & South Bend Railway Company at the corner of La Salle Avenue nd La Porte Avenue on lot 55 Cotb's Sub. of Bank out Lot No. 30. In the City of South Bend, ;Indiana. Resolved that notices as to the asseasments be published on the 29th day of October 1919 and on the 5th. day of Navem5er 1919 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will give ahearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 12th. day of November 1919 at 7:15PM. Resolved further, Uhat the entire work under the jbove contract be accepted and approved and the final estimate the een allowed. �TA
