for the purpose of receiving bids on furnishing electricity for the elect-
rical street li�hting system of the City of South Bend,
Only one bid havin� been received� it was •opened and publically read.
The bid of the Indiana and I�iichigan Electric Cor.,:pary was_accepted by the
Board for a period of 10 years fron and a£ter Janua�y 1� 1950� the agree-
r.nent for o�hich is attacned hereto and nane a part thereof.

The Board ordered a light in at 26th Street and Hastings Street.
Dir. Glass appeared before the Board and requestcd a street light at
the intersection of Broadwa.y and Lafayette 5treets. Tliis was referred to
Nr. �ualls for investigation and report.

Pir. Qualls reported tnat the ligi7ts ordered in at Scott Street :nd City*
Hall Court� Yentucky and Ford Streets� Kentucky &, Dunham Streets Verront
Place near Circle��Revere Place and Circ?e�the light at Iiuron and� Kaley Street
changed from 1000 lu�7en to �+000 lur�en li�ht� at Grace and Kaley 5treets change
to 2500 lunen. Poland and Kaley Streets changed to 25000 lunen and a 2500
luz7en light at Kaley and Fisher Street to be installed� a 1000 ltu:�en light at
Kaley and Sar.:ple Streets to be increased to 1+-000 lunen� a 1000 lur!en light
