A regular raeeting of the Board of Public Safety �aas held on t�tonday�
October 4-? 1948 at 10:00 A.M. 2•4r. Troeger ��as absent. P-Iinutes of the
last meeting were read and approved. Salary clains in the ai;:ount of
��-3�68�+.1�+ were approved and ordered paid. Claims of the following suppliers
in the amount of ;�?366,36 were approved and ordered paid:

pOLICE DEPARTP4ETdT: Chief E�erett oras present and r�atters pertaining to his
departr.:ent �aere discussed.
Oil Industries, Inc. , asked perciission to hold a parade on the City
treets on IInnday� October 11� 1948. Permission tiaas granted.
ELECTRICAL DEPARTPIENT: A petition iaas received asking for the installation
of a street light at the intcrsection of �erson ahd Hildreth Streets. The
Board directed that the said petition be referred to I:r. Qualls for investi-
gation and report.
There being no further business to come before the Board� the meeting
was adjourned at 11:30 A.i�i.
