Location: North Side of Coquillard Parr on Campeau St.
Dear Mr. Jakel:
The Board of Public Works, at its meeting held on October 23, 2018, denied your request to
restrict parking on the above reference street(s) for your event scheduled for November 11,
2018,.from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Board noted this is a public right-of-way with no
current parking restrictions. Buses can park there on a first come, first served basis. The Board
also recommended looking into other venues besides the public right-of-way to park for your
event. °I'he city cannot reserve parking in the public right-of-way for private events.
For, your information, the South Bend Police Department will monitor this event.

Public Works Meeting:
Tippecanoe Place Restaurant / Studebaker Catering respectfully request to use Campeau St
for event parking on Saturday November 11111, 2018. We are trying to secure parking for 16
motor coach buses for a catering event for the Florida State Alumni Association at
Coquillard park. The buses would park along the curb of the north side of the park on
Campeau St. The event is from 2pm-6pm, we would need the parking reserved for majority
of the day until the FSU / ND football game concludes.
