AMENDMENT TO OWNER -ENGINEER AGREEMENT Amendment No. 1 1. Background Data: a. Effective Date of Owner -Engineer Agreement: June 12, 2018 b. Owner: Board of Public Works, City of South Bend, Indiana C. Engineer: Black & Veatch Corporation d. Project: Hydraulic Modeling Training and Olive WTP Improvements Preliminary Engineering 2. Description of Modifications: a. Engineer shall perform or furnish the following Additional Services: Task 3 — Quality Control Review of Requests for Proposals Engineer will complete the below services related to review of Request for Proposal (RFP) packages developed by the Owner. Engineer will provide chemical feed, instrumentation and control, architectural, electrical and hydrogeologic professionals to provide a technical review of the below listed RFP packages developed by the Owner: a. RFP 118-021A — North & South Cleveland Well Field Refurbishments — Programming -related Items b. RFP 118-021B —North & South Cleveland Well Field Refurbishments — Chlorine Gas System & Bulk Fluoride Tank Replacement c. RFP 118-021C —North & South Cleveland Well Field Refurbishments -- Well Cleaning d. RFP 118-021D — North & South Cleveland Well Field Refurbishments — Repairs Engineer will prepare one technical memorandum that summarizes the review comments for the four RFP packages for the Owner's use in preparing the final RFPs. For the Additional Services or the modifications to services set forth above, Owner shall pay Engineer the following additional or modified compensation: For professional services described under Task 3, Owner agrees to pay Engineer in accordance with the Agreement for Professional Services on a lump sum basis. The total compensation for Amendment 1 shall increase the lump sum amount by $8,840 and shall not be revised without written authorization. e. The schedule for rendering services is modified as follows: Engineer will complete the work described above within three weeks of receipt of notice to proceed from the Owner. 5.
