The Chie£ asked. permission of the Board to send the Pistol Team, consisting of five men, to Ta�pa, Flori,da £or a shooting match on P�iarch 9th to 13th inalusive. The Board approved the request. Follo�•ring the usual procedure, the Boa:d ,ag�reed to pay one-half of the cost of inemberships in the �. t,7. C. A. of r�embers of the department desirous of attending classes, provided that the men attend at least one class per tiveek. A letter ti�ras received from Dr. Slor�inski, indiaating that Joseph ' l"lroblewslci rras physically fit for active duty, and the Board, therefore directed that Of£icer 1'lroblevrski report for Active duty on January 20� 1948. Petitions for street li�ts on Tdorth PJalnut at the entrance to Danish Aall, the intersection of PTorth Olive and Longley, the intersection of t?eade and 1�4arquette and theintersection of Cuehin� and Lindsay streets. Qualls for investigation and report. 195 , � T1r. �,ualls reco:n.�ended that a light on Tivyckenham Drive at F'airviel^�, �vhich had been turned off durinF the ti•�ar, be turned on as several hones have been con�ucted there. The Board approved this recommendation and ordered the light turned on, i,7r.
