The Chief presented a letter of recommendation indicating that three
men, '4Villiar,i J. 'Doran; Paul L. Flary and Roman J. Lesnie�^ricz, had all
successfully passed their probationary period on the Fire Department and
the Board accordingly approved the Chief� s recommendation that the men be
made permanenb members of the Departrnent. •
The Chief inforaed the Board that Lottie VJroble�vski, rireman, had
been 3�n�ured tvhile on duty. -

A request from the Comrnon Council to investigate a traffic light at
VJalnut and Lincoln l'Jay �Yast, was referred to P:4r. Qualls� txs it tivAS determined
'that the Council meant a street light inasmuch as there is no traffic light
at that intersection.
A petition was received asking for a street light to be installed at
the intersection of the 800 block oP Victoria Street and the alley; This
r•ras referred to ZSr. Qualls.
