Hearing had on assessment' roll and final estimate for grade,
curb and walk on St. Vincent Street from Niles Avenue to east line of Harter Heights
Add it ion, under Improvement Resolution No. 663. In the City of South Bend, Indiana,
In the above matter remonstrators appeared and objected to the
Harter Heights not paying for one half of the improvement. No written' remonstrance
was filed. The Board after due cons iderat ion decided to defer this matter until
Wednesday September 24th., 1919 at 7:15 P.M.
Hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for grade, curb
and walk on Stanfield Street from Howard Street to St.- Vincent Street, under Improve-
ment res olut ion No. 662. In the City of South; Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter remonstrators appeared 4nd to trAtten
remonstrance wa's filed. The Board after due cons iderat ion decided to defer all
act ion on said assessment roll until Wednesday September 24th. ,1919- at 7:15 P.M.

Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 724 for the pipe sewer on
Emeriek Street from Sorin Street to Hagerty Street, in the City of South Bend,
Indiana.
Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstranc*
was filed. The Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the ebentits
to property liable to be assessed for said `improvement are equal to the estimated
cost of the same, as 'reported by the City Civil End izi er and thereupon takes final
action on said' resolution as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things
ratified, confirmed and approved. .
Resolved further, that notices be published on the 20th. day of September
1919 and on the 27th.,, day df September 1919 in the South Bend Daily Tribune,
in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said
improvements up to 10:00 A.M. kkAx on the 7th., day of October 1919. The Boerd
reserves the right to reject any and -all bids.

Hearing had on resolution for pipe sewer on Carroll Street from Pennsylvac[
Avenue to Broadway, under Improvement Resolution No. 723. In the City of South Bend,
Indiana.
In the above matter remonstrators appeared and remonstrated against the
placing of a sewer in Carroll Street. `( °Mr Henry Troeger at the Crner of'Carroll
St. and Pennylvanis Avenue appeared before the Board and objected to said improvement
as his houses were all taken care of from Pennyilvania Avenue by private sewer..
Nq written remonstrance filed.. , And the Board being 6fully advised in the premises
decides that the benefits to property liable to be °assessed for said improvement are
equal to .;the estimated cost of the ,same as reported by the City Civil Engineer and
thereupon takes final action on said resolution '-as originally adopted, and the same
are hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved .
Resolved further, that 'not ices be published on the 20th. day of September
1919 and on the 27th., day of September 1919 in the South Bend Daily Tribune,. stating
that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to
10:00 A.M. on the 7th., day of October 1919. The Board reserves the right to reject
any and al I b ids.
Petition filed for a grade, curb and walk on north Johnson Street from
Vassar Avenue to Humboldt Street, The Board ordered a resolutior_�prepared.
The Board ordered the following lights to be placed in Marquette Park
Addition, the H. A. Wood Realty Company to file contract and bond to pay for same,
Four on Wilber Street as follows:-
-Two at intersection of Wilber Street and Thompson Street.
One in center of Block on Wilber Street between Keller .8k Thompson St.
One in center of block on Wilber Street between Hamilton and Thompson
One on Adams Street at corner of Thompson Street.
Two at intersection of Thompson Street and College Street.
One in center of Block between Thompson St. and Hamilton on College St.
One in center of block between Thompson and Keller on College Street.
Six- two Wa tt lights to be placed on Portage Avenue and paid for by the
City.
One at corner of Keller and Portage Avenue.
One at Stocker Place and Portage Avenue.
One In middle block between Thompson and Hamilton Avenue on Portage Ave.
One at the corner of Hamilton Avenue and Portage Avenue.

Avenue under Improvement Res olut ion No. 706, Garst Street from Michigan St. to Lafayette,
St eet', Bertrand Street, from Olive Street to Johnson Street, under Improvement Resolution
No. 719, Spruce Street from Colfax Avenue to the lst. alley north of Washington Avenue.
