Board -and requested permission to have cars unload material at the Blake Wall Paper
Factory west of La Porte Avenue off of the Chicago, Lake Shere : & South Bend Railway
Company. The following letter was approved by the Board.

Gentlemen:
The Beard of Public ` Works 4f tills ' C ity- h6reby consent to the unloading
of cars at -the proposed site of the Ludwig L. Blake Wall Paper Factory west of
La Porte Avenue -in this -City. The consent herein given to be construed strictly
for the anload ing =sf =.-care c orits a fng _building material necessary for the erection of
the Ludwig L. Blake Factory and nothing in this communisation to be construed as any
consent by the Board of Public Works for the loading or switching of any freight
cars prohibited under any ordinance now in effect in 'the City of South Bend,
