Key Performance Indicator’s Impacting Ecological Stewardship:
• Watered 180 trees and trimmed 180 trees in September.
• Saved 24 trees by cabling them to avoid fatal breakage.
• Established new landscape beds along Riverside Dr., Kennedy Pool, and Southeast Park.
• Helped volunteer group remove invasive quack grass and knotweed along Riverside and Leeper Park.
• Forestry crews used an air spade to aerate soil compaction around trees and their damaged root systems
at Potawatomi Park.
• Fall Tree Planting scheduled to start with 67 trees, including downtown areas and City parks.

VPA has reset 508 headstones and repaired 52 broken stones.

• Forestry Revenue Earned in September: $750
Central Mowing
• 918 Site Visit in September with 431 Abatements and 487 Cut By Owners.
