�1'he Chief informed the I3oard that Andrew V. Da1y, a f'ormer �nembers
of the Police Depar�ment had been released from ac�tive duty tivith the
United States Navy, and haci reported �'or duty on the Police Department.
The Board indicated that Prlr. Daly should ae restored t� dut� after passing
a general physical e;.amina�ion b� the City Doctor.
An application for the Police Departmen� ti�A$ received from Lester
Francis Haenes and �vas ordered filed.
A rene�val certificate on a bond for special policeman Ferdinand
Kallies vfas approved by the Board and ordered filed.

Ambrose. Joseph Lutz. These i�ere ordered filed.

The �oard ordered the clerk of' the Board to tivrite to 2lorbert ZiolkozFTSki
�o inl°orm him that �he City Doctor had not i�ecommended him for Fire service
and therefore the �oard could not accept him for duty on the Fire Dep�.rt�ent.

The Board directed Prlr. Qualls to apply for permis sion to install a
street libht at the �ntersection of Car.�den Street and ',YesZern Avenue.

Fd Idtorris, a member of the Police Department, appeared be�'ore the
Board asking that ne be released from ac�ivs du�y. The t3oard discussed
the m�tter at sor.le length, but no decision �vas reached.
A report ti�vas received from Dr. Harmon, the City Physician, shotirin�
that Andrew Daley had passeci a general physical examination and vras
recommended for active Police duty.

storaoe purposes. Equipment belonging to the �raffic depar��ent and
the electrical department has been stored there, A suggestion tivas made
.to investigate the possibility.of using .the central pumping station .
