As soon as the Chiefof �� the Fire Department is notified that he has so passed the examination, he is to restore him to duty im�mediate"ly and notify the Clerk of the Board. Salaries are directed to be paid to these men in accordance ylith the regular schedule of the monthly pa� of officers ona probationar� basis.
