POLICL DEPAR'I't1IENT: Chief Everett vTas present and matters pertaining to his departmont were dzscussed. . Leo T,Zakowski having passed the ph�sical examination and having ob- tained a release from his previous employer vJas assigned �o active duty � as of April 3, 19�5. . - An application for the Police i�epartment ti^ras received lrom Ed�vard P. I;Zol�nda. This was ordered f iled. Gu� :7illia�n.s� a rmember of the Police Department� :�as reported as havino been on sick leave for a period of 64 days. The Board recor�ended that he be exar:iined f'or a temporary disabilit� pension. ` The Chief preserited his report for the nonth of lYTarch, 1945. An application for a special police corr��nission vras apnroved for Charles Joseph i,lcConnell, srho is to :�TOrk i'or the Farlc Departrlent. PTo bond t�ras requested, and the application ��as ord�red i iled.
