N. Barnes is the lowest and best bidder for the kind of pavement heretofore adopted by the Beard and the Board find ` that said H. N. Banres>E is the leuast and best bidder and hereby late the contract for said improvement to him, and orders that said improvement be made with concrete .and all proc sedings heretofore had in this matter are hereb y confirmed and ratified. We also consent that said Board shall Froeaed to let the e ©ntraet f or d o ing sa id work in the f ollow g manner: - That they shall notify by mail respans iblo contractors in the City of South Bend, Indiana of said work to be done under said toolut ion and that., they shall roc a ive bids from the said c ontrae t ors for doing of said work, and they shall let the contract for the de g of said work to the lowest responsible bidder. And we waive any objection to the action of addd Board in Setting said contract in a form and manner other than provided by law. And we furthe consent, that the cost of doing said work shall be assessed against- the differ..nt pa eels of real estate owned by us as provided by Sections 8710-8710a-8711-8712 713-8714-8715-8716=8717-8718-8719-8720-87 3721 and all acts and laws amendatory ther of or supplemental vherots. And we further ogre that notice given us by mail shall be suff ie ient notice of the . hear ing - upon. the sessments made for said Improvement..
