An application for special police corlmissior. ;ras approved for Grant
T. �"lynegar. jhis vJas ordered filed as he is bonded under the blanket bond
of the Bendix. Products Corporation. .
Officer Leo PuIakovlski appeared before the 3oard and �:a�ved the filing
of formal charges concerning all matters that occurred the morning of July
23, 1944 as a result of ivhich he was suspended. Officer P.Zako.vski then made a
statement to the Board of the facts. After hearing the facts from_ 4fficer
T:a��otvski, the Board discussed the matter and too1� the question of penalty
under advisement. Present tivere all members of the Board and the Chief of
Police, Harry T. Everett.

The Board confirmed the tempora_ry appointr.:ent of Clifton ItiT. Copeland
to the Fire Departr:ient effective August 1, 1944.

The Bo�rd authorized the installation of a street li�ht at the inter-
section of 23rd and ��"dall Streets, upon the recor�mendation of Zalr. �,ualls, and
he �vas directed to apply to the ',JPB for permission to install same.
There being no further bus�ness to come before the Board, the meeting
vras adourned at 12 :00 I�,T.
