RESOLUTION N0. 932
A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
INDICATING ITS INTENTION TO TRANSFER CERTAIN REAL ESTATE
TO THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission owns certain
parcels of real estate in that portion of the South Bend Central
Development Area generally known as the East Bank area, which parcels
are more fully described in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part
hereof; and
WHEREAS, the parcels are in need of improvement; and
WHEREAS, the Commission lacks the necessary funds to perform the
improvement; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 7- 14.5 -19, the South Bend
Redevelopment Authority is authorized to issue bonds in order to
finance public improvements as set forth in I.C. 36 -7- 14.5 -11; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 7 -14 -22 and I.C. 36 -7- 14.5 -18, the
Commission may transfer property to the Redevelopment Authority for
improvements by the Authority consistent with the purposes set forth
in I.C. 36 -7 -14.5; and
WHEREAS, the Commission desires to transfer said property to the
Authority for such improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission as follows:
The parcels of land within that portion of the South Bend Central
Development Area commonly known as the East Bank area, which parcels
are more completely described in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein, shall be transferred to the South Bend
Redevelopment Authority pursuant to and consistent with the purposes
set forth in I.C. 36 -7 -14.5.
The President or the Vice - President and the Secretary of the
Commission are the proper parties to execute the deeds transferring
the parcels.
Adopted at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission
held on April 20, 1990 at the office of the Commission, 1200
County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend,
Indiana 46601.

Part of the West Half of the Northeast Quarter, Section 12, Township 37
North, Range 2 East in Cottrell's Addition, City of South Bend, St. Joseph
County, Indiana, described as commencing at the Northeast corner of part of
Lot Numbered Five (5); thence due South for 131.79 feet; thence West for 60
feet; thence due North to the South right -of -way line of Washington Street
vacated for 132.27 feet; thence East for 70 feet back to the point of
beginning.
