Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council
2011
The November 21, 2011 Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council
was called to order by Council Member Timothy Rouse, in the absence of
Council President Dieter and Vice - President Oliver Davis at 6 :00 p.m. in the
Council's Informal Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members LaFountain, Rouse, Kirsits,
Varner, Puzzello, and White; Mayor Stephen Luecke, City Attorney Charles
Leone, Director of Public Works Gary Gilot, CSO Project Manager Jack Dillon,
Director of Wastewater Al Greek and Kathleen Cekanski - Farrand, Council
Attorney. Attending via telephone was Fred Andes of the Barnes & Thornburg
law firm, Chicago office.
The Executive Session was called pursuant to the November 15 2011, Notice of
Executive Session for the purpose of discussing strategy with respect to pending
litigation or litigation which has been threatened in writing pursuant to Indiana
Code § 5- 14- 1.5 -6.1 (b)(2)(B) (copy attached)
This is to certify that the only subject matter discussed at this Executive Session
was that contained in the November 15, 2011 "Notice of Executive Session ".
Council Member Rouse adjourned the Executive Session at 6:58 p.m.
