Deferred hearing had on Vacation Resolution No. 71 for the Vacation of a ten (10') foot alley lying north of lots a[Rd 3 and 4 in Ward's Sub. Div. of. lot 329 and a part of lot 328 in Cottrell's Rirst Addition, naatea In the City, of South Bend, Indiana. In the Bove matter Attorney Barry Scanlon, Mr. Metzger and others appeared against said alley and Mr...Mossey petitioner appeared for said vacation. The Board deferred said hearing until Wednesday February 28th.11923 at 7.15 P.M. Deferred hearing had on resolution for the Opening and Widening of alley in Dunbar 's Addition betweeB Colfax Avenue and Washington Avenue; under Condemnatio Resolution No. 70. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.. . In the above matter interested property owners appeared and the Board deferred saidhearing.until Wednesday February 28th., 1923 at 7:15 P.M. Fearing had,on imProvement,Resolution.No. 1089. for the pipe sewer on -Oak Park Court from Miami Street, to the 1st. alley west of Marine Street , in the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing no remonstratord.appeared and no written remonstrance was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineerm an thereupon takes final action .On said resolution as originally adopted and the sa,e is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved.' Resolved further that notices be publiselled on the 26th. day of February 1923 and on the 5th. day of March 1923 in the South Bend Daily Tribune and News Times, stating this Board will - receive bids for the construction of said improvement, up to 10:00 A.M..Tuesday March 20t,h.9 1923 at The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
