Committee from River Park Civic Club appeared before hhe Board in regard t6 lights in River Park. Board advised Committee that this matter was under advisement. ..> Hearing had on Condemnation Resolution No. 67 for the Widening of Sorin Street at Notre fame Avenue in the City of South Bend, Indiana, as per resolution recorded on page 592 of this 10th. record. In the above matter nomenstraters appeared and a written remon- strance was filed. The Board therefore after hearing all parties interested,_over- ruled written remonstrance and sustain>all,former action taken, and declare the above described property.in_ell things, ondemned and appropriated for public use. and this reokution in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved: •'The Board further ordered that the. City Engineer be instructed to prepare a roll of all owners or holders of property and of,valua ble interests therein sought to betaken or to be injuriously affected which list or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected and show the awards of damaged and assessments of benefits in the above matter. Hearing had on Resolution for the pipe sewer on Brookfield Street from Fassnacht, Avenue to :Lincoln Way West, under Improvement Resolution: No. 1084. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon ,said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remora- strance was filed. Andthe Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement be equal to the estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, an thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally, adopted, and the same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved. Resolved further# that notices be published) on the 26th* day of February 1922 and on the 5th. day of March 1923 in the South Bend News T imes and South Bend Tribune, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up.to.10:00 A.M.-Tuesday March 20th.0 1923 The Board reserves the right toL reject any and all bids. This list includes the names of the owners and holders of property and of interests therein sought to be taken or brneficially or injuriously affected, and the.deseript,iob of the several pieces of property which is affected by the said appropriation proceeding Thereupon the Board proceeded to award the damages sustained and to assessed the benefits accruing to each pi-ece of property upon said list. It.was thereupon, upon mot&can duly made and seconded and un- anisiously adopted, resolved &hat said list, together with the amounts of benefits and damages and _net damages and net benefits therein set, forth as to the severed parreelsand,be.Adopted and that the respective amount of benefits contained In said list be and are hereby assessed against the several tracts of land`as specially set forth in said list and that the respective amounts of damages con- tained in the said list be and are hereby awarded to the several tracts of land specifically set, forth insaid list, and that the net benefits and net damages as the ease my be to the respective tracts of land, contained in said list are here by awarded or assessed, as :the case may be as to -the said several tracts of land.
