The matter of widening and paving of Lincoln Way East from Washington Avenue to Sample Street was discussed and it was agreed that the City Engineer investigate the various -poles along the street and report as,to the what companies aimemed same and also that a resolution be ordered for improvement of said. Street. Louis Cohen appeared before the Board and requested permission to remove extra dirt from Grant Street between Prairie Avenue and Delaware.Streets, in this City. Board agreed to give Louis Cohen permission providing aaaagreement abd bond was filed and work to be performed under the supervision of the City Engineer. Communication received from Henry A, Toad in regard to petition for pavement on E. Bowman Street from Miami Street to Leer Street. Resolution ordered, on same. Financial report of the City Cemetery'Sexton filed. Partial estimate allowed George Pontarelli on the River Park Trunk sewer District No, 2 for the amounts of..... .0.848,477.10 Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for Mexican Asphaltic concrete pavement on Kendall Street from Indiana Avenue to Calvert Street, under Improvement Resolution NO@ 1044.' In the City of South Bend, Indiana. Resolved that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published on the'5th. day of December 1922 and on the 12th. day of December 1922 in the South Bend. Daily Tribune and News Times, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amounts of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 20th. day of December 1922 at 7:15 P.M. Resolved further that the entire work under. the above contract, be accepted and approved<nd the f1hal estimate thereon allowed. The -following resolutions were adopted by the Board. LOCAL SEWER IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1084. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, County of St. Joseph, State of Indiana, That the constrction Sf.a local sewer, intended and adapted only for local use by the prdperty holders whose prope►itty abuts thereon, and not intended or adapted for receiving sewerage from collateral drains, be and the, same is hereby ordered in and along Brookfield Street from Fassnacht Avenue to Lincoln Way West as follows, to -wit:- Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Fassnacht Avenue and Brookfield Street; thence no rth along the center line of Brookfiled Street to the center Lineof Werwinski Street with an 18 inch vitrified pipe sewer; thence still north along the center lineof Brookfiled Street to the center of Rppel -Street with a 15 inch vitrified pipe sewer; thence still north along the center line of Brookfiled Street to the alley between Moon's lst. and 2nd.
