Hearing had on ass4ssment roll and final estimate for water
connections on Division Street from'Olive Street to Liberty Street, under Improvement
ResolutionNo, 1020 , in the City of -South Bend, Indiana.
-In the above ratter no remonstrators appeared and no written
remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said
roll filed November.;Sth., 1922 is benefitted in the amount of assessments,as shown
on said roll and the Board further find that the assessment roll filed November 8th.
1922 and the final estimate allowed November Bth.,. 1922 should be and the same are
hereby An all things, ratified, confirmed and approved.

on seven -inch "coAcrete pavement in'' alley -lying bstween lots 3-6 & 4-5 Mease(s Addition
from la -Porte Avenue to Lincoln Flay West, under Improvement Resolution No 992. In the
City.of South Bend, -Indiana.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no ,written
.remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore find that the p1property assessed in
said roll filed November 15th.2 1922 is benefitted in the amount of assessments
as shown on said roll, and the Board further find that the assessment roll filed
November 15th.", 1922 should be and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed
and approved.

grade, curb and walk on Eckman Street from Michigan Street to East line of -Vandalic
R. R. under Improvement, Resolution No. 991. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
In the.above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written
remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore find thatthe porperty assessed in said
roll filed November 15th.9 1922 is benefited in the amounts of &see-ssments as shown
on said mill, and the . Board further mind. that the assessment ";roll;: filed• November 15th.
1922 and the final estimate allowed November 15th., 19229 should be and the same
is hereby in all things ratified, confirm,-4 and approved.
Hearing had on resolution for pipe sewer on FaiR View Avena"e
from Michigan Street to Fellows Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 1078. IN the
City of South Bend, Indiana.
Upon said .}gearing no remonstrators appeared and no written
remonstrance was filed. The Board +zbeirgcfuliya~ddvised in the premises, decides that
that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to
the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon
takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby in
all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
Resolved further, that all -advertisements for bids be
held up until March 6th.9 1923 at 9:00 A.M.

Hearing had on resolution. for Pipe sewer on Marietta Street
from Broadway to Pennsylvania Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No, 1077. In the
City of South Bend, Indiana.

strance was filed. The Board being fully adv:tsed in the premises, deetdos that the
benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the
estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineers andibereupon
takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby
in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
Resolved further that the matter of advertising for bids be
taken up at meeting Tuesday March 6th., 19231 at 9:00 A.M.

strance was filed, The Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that
the benefits to the property liable to be assessed in said improvement are equal 6
to the estimated cost of the same, as repotted by the City Civil Engineer, and
thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the
same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved,
Resolved that .this matter be set for January 24th., 192.R at
7:15 R. M. as date for advertising.

City of South Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written
remonstrance was filed. The Board being fully adv.isedin the premises, decides
that the property liable to be assesed for said improvement are equal to the
estimated cost, of the City Civil Engineer and thereupon, takes final action on said
resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby in all things, ratified,
confirmed and approved.

the McHugh & Cole Company and the Lincoln Trust Company, in which the McHugh &
Cole Company assigns to the Lincoln Trust Company all hhe claims of every find
and nature which the above named construction company may have against the City
of South Bend with respect to the construction of a sewer known as th-e River Pk
Park Trunk sewer District No. 19 authorized under Trunk Sewer Improvement
Resolution No. 1016,

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that, Whereas, McHugh & Cole
Company, an Indiana Corporations, has entered into a contract with the Board
of Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, bearing date of the 5th. day of
September, 19220 forthe construction by said McHugh and Cole Company of a trunk
sewer in said City of South Bend, known as the River Park Trunk Sewer District
No, l., authorized under Trunk Sewer Improvement Resolution Numbered 1016„
which said sewer is now in process of construction; and,
WHEREAS, the assessmeNts against the property benefited by th
the construction of said sewer have not yet been made, nor said sewer completcd
or accepted by said Board of Works:
NOW THEREFORE, for a good and valuable consideration received
to the satisfaction of said McHugh and Cole Company, the said McHugh and Cole
Company hereby sells, assigns, transfers, sets over and delivers to and unto
the Lincoln Trust Company of the City,
�f Fortlsyne, Indiana, the assessments
roll to be hereafter fer made for the construction of said sewer, and all assess
ments levied or assessed against property kenefitted thereby•by said Board of
Works, together with all sums of money due, or to become due to the said McHugh
and Cole Company from said City of South Bend for the construction of said sewer
and all sums and amounts due or to become due and payable to them by reason
of the construction -thereof, whether payable in money or bonds, and said McHugh
and Cole Company hereby authorize and empower the officials of said City to isle
issue to said Lincoln Trust Company all bonds to which the said McHugh and Cole
Company may at any time be entitled by reason of the construction of said sewer,
and to pay unto the said Lincoln Trust Company all moneys which may at any time
'become due and payable to said McHugh and Cole. Company on account thereof, it
being the intention hereby to assign and transfer unto said Lincoln Trust
Company any and all claims accruing or to accrue to said McHugh and Cole Company
of any kind or nature whatsoever grwoing out of the construction of said sewer.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF said McHugh and Cole Company has caused
its corporate name to be hereunto subscribed,by Thomas McHugh, its President, ail

Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,
County of St: Joseph, State of Indiana. That, the construction of.a local sewer,
intended and adapted only for local use by the property holders whose property abuts
thereon, and not intended or adapted for receiving sewerage from collateral drains, be
and the,same is hereby ordered in and along Fellows Street from Calvert Street to
Donald Street as folloft, to -wit: -
Beginning at the intersection of the Renter line of
Calvert Street and Fellows Street; thence south along the center line of Fellows
Street to a point 20,feet south of the south line of the alley south of Calvert Street
