Fire Chief Sibrel appeared before the Board in regard to gasoline and oil tanks and the following resolution was adopted by the Board. R E S 0 L U T I 0 N. Resolved, that all permit for oil or gasoline tanks to be set below the ground, must include that the+top of filler pipe muss, set flush with grade u Inspector Beaning recommended that the follbwing poles and wire be placed. Permit granted tb thelndiana Bell Tel Company to place conduit on various streets in the City according to blueprints submitted, also -poles and anchors on various streets as per blue prints filed. Commissioner of,building filed report for the month of October.1922. The following petitions were reported by the Inspector$. Light on Kinyon Street -to Blain a Avenue. Recommend that this petition be. held up until resident on this street cut down poplar trees., Are light at intersection of 'Vassar Avenue and Brookfiled Street and light on Fellows Street andMichiganStreet , referred to inspector for report. Also petition foe light at corner of McCartney Street and Blaine Avenue and Light in alley in Kiefer's and*Cobbs Sub -Div. from Oak Street to Colfax Avenue. Resolution ordered for sewer on._E. Victoria Street from Fellows Street to South Michigan Street. Resolution ordered fb.r`the resurfacing of Eddy St.reet�from La Salle Avenue to South line of South Bend Avenue. Communication received from Alexis Coquillard in regard to.,pavement on Eddy Street,read and placed on,file. Inspector reported no light necessary on Frances Street and South Bend Avenue and Sorin Street Cemetery Sexton filed repo3bt for month of October 1922. Communication received from ino. W. Talbot requesting that Howard Street be paved from Notre Dame Avenue to Eddy Street, pas -the Owl Hospital. Same read and placed on file and answer sent to file petition for said pavement. Partial estimate filed by Engineer Nov. 4, for the sum of $5,072.69 to McHugh and Cole for River Park Trunk Sewer Di$trict No. l was filild with the Board and.approved. Board orderednotice sent to Harry Brazy to remove dirt dumped into Bowman Creek next to his property on Dubail Avenue, taken up with the City Attorney for an opinion, a , The following resolutions were adopted by the Board. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, County of St. Joseph, State of Indiana, That the construdction of a local sewer, intended and adapted only for.,local use by the property holders whose property abuts thereon, and not intended or�adapted for receiving sewerage from collateral drains, be and the same is hereby ordered in and along Scott, Street from Indiana Avenue to Calvert Street, as followa, towWit:- Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Indiana Avenue and Scott Street; thence south along the center line of Scott Street, to the center of Dubail Avenue with a 15 inch vitrified pipe sewer; thence still south along the center line of Scott Street 238 feet wfth a-12 inch vitrified pipe sewer; thence still south along the center line of Scott Street to a point 15 feet south of the south line of 1st. alley north of Calvert Street -with a 10 inch vitrified pipe sewer, together with the necessary manholes, storm water inlets, conduits and house connections to the curb line along the line of sa-id improvement, all as is more particularly shown and all in accordance with the plans, profiels, detail drawings and specificatons on file in the office of the Department.of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana..
