Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.M. All members present.
Hearing had on improvement resolution No. 1061 for the pipe sewer on
Columbia Street from Paris Street to Wenger Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 1061
In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
.Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared and written remonstrance
filed. The Board after hearing all parties interested in said improvement, over -ruled
written remonstrance and being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits
to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost
of the same, as reported by'the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action
on said resolutions as originally adopted and the same is hereby in all things, ratified,
confirmed and approved
tResolved further that notices be published on the .5th. day of October
1922 and°on the 12th. day of October 1922 in the South Bend Tribune and News Times,
stating that this`Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up
to 10:00 A.M. on the 20th. day of October 1922 a special meeting of. the Board. The
Board reserves the Atght to reject any and all bdds.
Hearing had on impOvement Resolution No. 1062 for the sidewalk on
south side of Corby Street from Walsh Street to the east line of Park Place _Rrd.
Addition, in the City of South Bend, Indiana:
Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written re mon-
strance was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the"premises, decides that the be

cost of the same. as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final
action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all thing-s,
ratified, confirmed and approved.

October. 1922 and on the 12th. day of October 1922 in the South Bend News Times and
Tribune, stating.that this Board will receive bids for the enstruction of such work
up to 10:00 A.M. at a special meeting of the Board to be held Tuesday October 20th.
1922 at T@100 A.M. -The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

south side of Keller Street from Portage Avenue to ?hest line of Morris Park Addition,
in the City of South Bend, Indiana. >

Hearing had On VacatiOn.-ResOlu.tiOn NO. 64 for the Vacation Of alley
West Of College Street from Repel°Street, t0 1st. alley south Of Rupel Street,in
the City Of South Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter no remOnstratOrs appeared and nO written
remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore sustain all former action taken
On and declare the abOve described property in all things, vacated and this
resolution .in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved.
And the Board nOw Orders that a list Or roll be prepared Of all
Owners Or holders Of property and Of valuable interests therein sought t0 be
taken Or to be injuriously affected which list Or roll shall zlsO describe the
property beneficially affected.

Hearing had On Vacation Resolution NO. 65 f Or the Vacation Of the
alley wes', Of Main Street from Calvert Street tO north line Of alley between
Stover and witwer's Addition and Perley Lumber Company Addition, in the City Of
South Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter nOnremOnstratOrs appeared and no written
remonstrance was filed. Mr. Graffis Of the Pennsylvania Ry. Company appeared
in interests Of Ry. Company, but filed no written Objection. The BOard after
hearing all parties interested deferred this hearing until Wednesday October llth
1922 at 7:15 P.M.
Contract for sewer On Bertrand Street from Olive Street to Johnson
Street Over estimate, awarding Of same deferred.
Bids for the pipe sewer On Campau Street frOm Alley East Of
Walsh Street t0 east end Of Campau Street Over the estimate. The Board rejected
all Of the sewer bids receved Tuesday Oct. 3rd.91922 a,nd'Ordered same readvertisd
in Spring of 1923. This matter deferred until Febrgary'13th.,1923 at 10:00 A.M.
Pole and Wire Inspector Beaning recommended tO place the cluster
light for the Pallace Theatre just south Of the canopy about four feet and t0
place it any further would bring it t0 close t0 the next cluster light., Report
approved and Electric Company Ordered t0 place same.
