PJIr. Burns was present and submitied to the Board his report for the
week ending January 14, 1933, sho�-ving a �otal number of inspectinns of 198.
F'IRE DEPI-�nTI�ENT:
Chief DeVlee�cnower was present: The Board received the resi�natzon
of Paul V�egner, a member of tne Fire Department, from service. 2'he resig-
nation was accepted effective as of January l6, 1933, at 7:00 �.i+/. , and
granted tne retiring member two v,reeks vaca�ion with pay, to be nai� as a,
private until February 1, 1939. Upon motion duly mude, �econded and carried,
Ste�nenJ. Hegge of 2006 Kemble Avenue, was appainted as a probationary fire-
r�an, to become effective as of Febru�:i°y lst, witn orders to report to the
Fire De�artment physician for examination: to be subject to assignment by
Cnief DeVleeschotiver. Other matters per�ainin� to the Fire Depa'rt�ment tivere
discussed with Chief DeVleeschower.
POLICE DEPi�2'I'iJ��i�TT: -
Chief Ingr�sn was �resent and certain m�tvers were discussed pertaining-
to the removaZ of the radio broadcasting unit to the �ity Ha�l and the
shziting of the Records Division into the �resent Squad xoom and m�.kine a
Squad. Room out oP tne sauth side of the gs.rage. Ivo decision or definite
action was taken.
A sneci�l police Commission was issued to Lisle I�ZcNabb, City- Cemetery
Sexton, to serve without bond.
