POLICE Dr;P�.R�vIEi��T - Chief Lane present: The Chief submitted a report of the opers.tions of the Police Depart- �nent for the month of November, copy oP Evhich was f�rnished each member of the Board �nd a copy nlaced on file. . The Chief sub�itted his re�ort of the Cafeteri� Court for the month of October, copy of which was placed on file and a copy furnished each member of th e Board. Sure�y Bond in favor of iVlelviII J. Voelkel vras approved by the Board. Contir_uation Certificate covering the surety bond of Frank Jankowski was apnroved, and filed with the original bond. Continuation Certif'icates on tiie 5pecial Police �sonds of Jack Palmer and Tfaurice H. Lamb rvere approved by the Board. City Traf fic Engineer r�liller called attention to � serious obstruc- . tion to visibility at -the corner of Vassar and ��ilbur Streets on the pronerty belongingto the V assar Reelty Company. The �lerk was instruc- ted to communicate Yvith tnem� and ask them to improve this condition. City Traf'f'ic �ngineer uliiler reported upon the request for painting thE curb southfrant�ashington 'Street o� ��illi�ms, and did not recommend this but sug�ested that "no pa.rking on this side" signs be placed on the e�st sic.e of the street which is now the regul�tion. City Traffic Fngineer Adiller reported upon the request of the Bank- ers' Finance Corx�oration for 15-minute parking regulation in �'ront of their build.ing. He recem.mended that this be not granted for thE reason thut it ;nould invite other similar requests �nd �hat it tivould not solve : the diYficulty since enforcement is not practical.
