Regular meeting of the Boa.rd of Public S�.fety was held on '�

proposal covering nev�r cars for 1938, a� follows:

The Board, after considerirlg this pro?�osal, deczded to accer�t and
Scherm.an-Schaus-Freeman Company was �o notified.
Speci�l police commission in favor of Steve Orsvoir, to serve
as merchart noiicem�.n in v�rest end of the City, ar_d surety bond
covering same v,%ere �pnroved by the Board. �
Rene�val certificates on the follotv:ing speci�.l police officers
in the em�lo,y of the Bendix Products Corporation v:ere �pproved by
the Board: Alva. D. Ba.tes, John Gruse, l�rthur F. Eagel, Jack Palmer,
and 112aurice H. Lamb.
City Traffic �.gineer r�Iiller submitted a re�uest from the
Northern. Irdi�na Public Service Comx�any that r�arking be sliminated
on the north sid.e of Pennsylvania 1?ver_ue, from P�Ziami Street to the
west end of their building. Mr. IVliller recommended this reouest be
granted znd the Eioard concurred in ar_d issued instructions to carry
out the progr�m.
