Requisiti.ons in the Police Depart_�ent numbers 378 to 384, inclu- sive, and in tne Fire Department numbers 03613 to 03618, inclusive, ��rere approved. Claims in the amount of �5,4�5. 68, from the follov�ing suppliers, were approved and ordered paid, also payrolls for tne various departments amounting to �1, 901.04. The question of motorcycle radio vras dro��ed by the Board for the present. The Chief' presented a communic�tion from Harold �. ti"a'hitmer noiv in Z"lashin�ton attending Police Scnool , a copST o�' ��hich was furnished each member o�' the Board. Oificer Ernest H. ���iller, upon instructions fror� the l�tayor and tile Chief of Police, investi�ated parking conditions in front of the Odd Fellotvs Buildin� entrance ar_d renorted that nresent 'restrictions should be changed, ?�utting � loading zone at the entrance and permittir_g parking �'rom that point to the corner. This recorrunendation tti-as concurred in ana instructions given the Chief of Police to carry it out.
