Requisitions in the Police Department numbers 366 to 377 and in
the �ire Department numbers 03611 and 03612 v�rere �ap�roved. Claims,

and ordered paid.

accidental firing of a rifle in the desk serge��nt 's office on �S�turd��_y,

hoping to receive some consideration from the Board i'or parkin� space
at their store on 1�',�estern ��.venue Und Tti2ain Street. Af'ter Gnalyzing
the situation thoroughly, the Board gave instructions to the Police
Departrlent to see t�lat the driveV�ay entering this builciing be ke�t
o�en, v�hicn. v,�ill be �:mple parking space for their uillo�aciing trucks.
S1�eci�_�l police of'f'icer' s comrnissions were approved in favor of
�;Y!e follov�ing er�ployed ir_ the Bend_ix Praducts Corpor�tion plant and
sU,�orn in by the Chief: John Gruse, ly�aurice H. Lamb, �lv� Demas
Bates, Arthur Fred �gel , Clyde Rumsey and Jack Palmer.
Surety bond in the Nlaryl�nd Casualty Company covering special
police officer's commission of R. Simeri ��,-as aPproved by the Boaz°d
ar_d ordered placed on f ile.
The ciuestion o�' having the Ordinance covering the regulation �'or
sale ar_d use of firev�,�orks � reprinted, the present stock being
exh�usted, was discussed snd it Uras decided not to go to this expense
this year.
Communicatior� fror,l the Kosciuszko Civic Club vr�ls received,
petitionin� the Board to supply more policing on South V�alnut Street,
betvl�een S�.mple Street and Ind.iana �verue. This z��as discussed v�ith

presertea to the Board and each member given a copy. This report
