asking that he be reinstated in the Police Department. �his letter .�as
ordered filed, but no . action v�as ta�en. .
FIRE DEPARTI:�IENT: Chief DeVleeschower v�as present and riatters pertaining to
his department tivere discussed.
Due to action b� the rtationin� Board in eliminatinb the A gasoline
ration coupons of the Fire Chief, the Baard authori�ed the use of the
Fire Ghief' s car for transportation to anct.from his residence. `i'his has
been necessary because of the need for transpo�tation to second alarrn fires
from his residence.

requesting that a street lioht be installed at the entrance to their plant

A letter vras received from the linited States Rubber Cor�.pan� asking
permission to install a public address system for an exhibit to promote
emplo;�ent. lhis �.�ras referred to the City Attorney.
