Chief Ingram advised that Georoe Al1en, a member� of the Police
Department has inlisted in the air forces of the United St�ates Armed
forces, as of Auoust 29, 1942. �
� The Board instructed the Chief to send Officer Burns to .Purdue
Universft�* September 6th to 16th to attend the '�°lar Departraent.Civilian
Protecticn School. �
- The Board authorized the Chief to send Ser�t. �rR�elch and' t?fficer
Burns to Purdue, September lst and 2nd, to observe tne control center.
• Commissions Y�rere approved £or Franl� Hildebrand and Frank PR. Rogers
as Special Police Officers. Cor,unissions and bonds were approved for
Harry Van Zandt and Lloyd ?1. Stull, Special Police Officer.
