In the City of South Bend, 8nd cans . Upon said hear jng roinonstrators appeared and requested that }resolution be modif _l,t:and, thet3osrd after hearing all parties interested modified resolution to read pipe sewer on Rush from first alley south of Haney Avenue to a point 47 feet south, and being fully advised in the premises, decides that the ebnnefits to property liabll to be assessed for said improvements are equal is the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as modified, and the same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved as modified. Resolved further,, -that notices be published on theL 28th. day of April 1922 and on the 5th, day of May 1922. in the South Bend Tribune and News Times, newspapers of general circulation in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for -the con- struction of said imprsvoment up to 10:00 A.M.=May 16th.9 1922. Yardserfer appeared before the Board regarding lights on Forest Avenue, the Board refused W grant boulevard lights but, recommended that Mr. Beaning examined Forest Avenue_ between Riverside Drive and Manitou Place°as-te the -necessity of aMee lights. In the mutter of.the widening of La Salle Avenue ttdmfthg west line of La Salle Bridge to the east line of Main Street., The Beard ordered a reso!ution prepared. Board instructed the Street Commissioner to round off southwest corner and northeast corner of Carrell Street and South Street, Excavation, band in the sum of $1,000.00Dollars for E. B. Mahler was approved by the Board. Renewal certificate for 019000.00 for G.Z. McGrath was approved by the Bard. s Petitions were Piled as follows and resolutions ordered. M a Pipe sewer on O'brien Street from North line of Washington Avenue forth to a point north of Linden.Avenue which is 40 feet south of the south line of Lot No. 9 in O'Bannn's Sub-6Division, Hearing had on Vacation Resolution No. 61 for the vacation of the north and south alley lying between Tenth and Eleventh Street from Vine Street to Pleasant Street., also the east and west alley lying between Vine Street and Pleasant,_ Street from. Tenth Street to Eleventh Street, in the'City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared' and no written remon- strances were filed.
